Skin Tightening Treatments

All of us over 30-40 see our facial skin begins to loosen and sag, and many of us want or could looking skin firmer and younger. Skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Titan, ReFirme, LuxIR and others are often advertised as a non-surgical facelift. However revealed an objective comparison of a well-performed surgical face lift with the results of a non-surgical skin tightening treatment that the best skin firming treatment achieves only 20-30% of the standard facelift result. Skin tightening results on the stomach and arms are at best 20% of what can be achieved surgically with a tummy tuck or arm lift.
More recent, but are more invasive, subcutaneous laser treatments achieve significantly better skin tightening than currently available surface treatments with Thermage, Titan, Lux IR ReFirme and, in my experience. I predict that improve the new laser technology and will gradually replace the older surface technology, which uses radio frequency and infrared energy to tighten the skin.As our skin ages, it loses its elasticity. Elasticity is what keeps our skin firm to our face and body.

Elasticity depends on collagen and elastin, two components called the deeper layer of our skin, the dermis. The elastin and collagen, which are for firm skin found in the deepest part of the skin, just above the fat layer that lies beneath the skin.
